Annie, Are You Okay?

"But where ar-" I was cut off.
"Shhh!" Sonny shushed me.


We were patrolling the Shipping and Processing Factory for any sign of Annabelle.

No such luck.

"Sonny, Kenna. She's obviously not here." I sighed.
"SHE HAS TO BE HERE!" Sonny exclaimed.
"Son's right." Kenna sighed.

We walked a little ways further, and I suddenly faintly heard "All My Loving" by The Beatles.
"ANNIE!" Sonny and Kenna yelled in unison.
Sonny grabbed my arm and we all ran towards the music.

"All My Loving, I will send to you!
All My Loving, darling I'll be true!
All My Lo-" Sonny and Kenna ran to her and hugged her.

"ANNABELLE!" They yelled.

Annabelle was a short girl with copper hair and chocolate eyes.
"SONNY! KENNA! I MISSED YOU!" She yelled.

Sonny was beaming and Kenna looked like she was on the verge of tears.

"So this is what it's like to have a best friend, huh?" I thought to myself.

"Who is this?" Annabelle asked them, nodding to me.
"Annie, this is Rita Pilchard." Kenna smiled, coming over to hug me.
"Oh so THIS is the famous Lovely Rita. Hi It's nice to meet you, I'm Annabelle." Annie smiled and put out her hand for me to shake it.
"Hi Annie, it's nice to meet you." I smiled "Sonny and Kenna are always talking about you."

We all laughed.

"How'd you get here?" Annabelle asked.
"A very long bus ride." Sonny confessed.
"Hey Kens, how will we get back to the factory?" I whispered.
"The factory? You came here to get me back there? No thanks" Annabelle shook her head.
"Aw come on Annie, why not?" Sonny asked.
"Because." Annabelle pouted.
"Because is not an answer" Kenna fired.
"Well it is to me!" Annabelle said then walked away.

"This is going to be harder than I thought." Sonny sighed.
"Ya Think?" Kenna shot back.
